DESCRIPTION

PAW MediDerm® is a low-irritant shampoo formulated using mild, effective active ingredients (including piroctone olamine) to aid in the treatment of canine skin infections & to remove scaly skin & grease.

Made with piroctone olamine, a veterinary active ingredient, it removes scaly skin and grease while preserving the natural skin barrier function. The pH balance of your dog’s skin is as unique as they are. When it’s disrupted, irritations and infections can occur.

Formulated to effectively help to treat pyoderma, seborrhoea and pruritis associated with these conditions. This shampoo also aids in the control of staphylococcus intermedius and controls malassezia pachydermatis.

Safe to use without gloves, it has a five-minute wash time to make bathing a breeze.

INGREDIENTS

Piroctone olamine, purified water, cocamidopropyl hydroxysultaine, sodium N-lauroyl sarcosinate, disodium cocoamphodiacetate, sodium laural sulfoacetate, lauryl sulfoacetate, gylcerin, sodium phosphate, chlorphenesin, and sodium gluconate.

DIRECTIONS & WARNINGS

What is this gentle medicated shampoo used for?

How do I use this gentle medicated shampoo?

Is it safe for all pets, and are there any precautions?

Avoid contact with eyes. If contact with eye occurs, rinse throughly with clean water. Seek veterinary advice if eye changes are observed. Great for yeast infections!

My gorgeous rescue girl is allergic to everything and as a result gets yeast infections very commonly, especially up here in QLD as the humidity gets so high. I started using PAW Mediderm for her and it has been AMAZING at getting rid of the infection and the yeasty smell/greasy feel, as well as making her much less itchy. I use it with the PAW Nutriderm Conditioner too which I think really helps keep her comfortable.

Highly recommended & only 5 min contact time.

My Silky Terrier had skin problems for which she needed repeated courses of cortisone until a locum vet recommended this product. A weekly bath using Mediderm & the matching Nutriderm conditioner and she never had another dose of cortisone in her almost 17yr lifespan. A big plus is that it only needs 5 min contact time rather than the 10 min required by other brands, as 10min can seem like an eternity with a wiggly pup! It’s gently enough to use with my new puppy too.

I purchased this as an alternative to Malaseb medicated shampoo for my dog who gets skin irritation easily. It means she only needs to have it on for 5 mins instead of 10 mins... AND i don't need to wear gloves when using it. WIN! Does the same job. Has zero smell/aroma.

Effective treatment for seborrheic dermatitis on my dog.

This product works very well when used as advised...leaving on for 5 mins after application and reapplied as directed. I have added the conditioner at the recommendation of his vet but not sure if that has made any difference. My dog has seborrheic dermatitis.
